That's right, my weekend has officially started! No more work for 3 days, it could be more, I don't have next weeks rota yet! So how did I kick my weekend off?
Well, I started by coating my hair in lots of Marylin hair mask from Lush (love that stuff!), I then made my Dad's birthday cake, with a helping hand from my sous chef (Mum!) Dad's birthday is tomorrow, I'm looking forward to it, not only because we get to make a fuss of him, but also because we are off to Guildford to spend the day with his parents (my grandparents). I made him an Orange and White chocolate sponge, I will try to take a picture of it tomorrow, if I remember!
Once the cake was made, and Dad and I had cooked dinner for us all, I treated myself to a lovely long hot bath! My feet don't ache anymore, my hair is VERY moisturised (thanks Lush) and I feel super relaxed (thanks again Lush!)
Still to do before bed tonight, paint my finger and toe nails, dry my hair, wrap Dad's presents, write his card, and download some new music for my ipod!! Having been up since 5am, I'm hoping to get this all done ASAP!

I've been a bad blogger =(
I have been back in London for over a week now, in fact pushing on for 2 weeks, so I must apologise for not blogging sooner!
Sorry!
Ok with that out of the way its onto the good stuff! So what have I been up to?
Well I returned to London on the 24th May, and met up with an old friend on the 25th, it was a really fun day! Then on the 26th my housemates finished there exams, which of course meant, MASSIVE NIGHT OUT!!! Starting at TGI Fridays for cocktails and then on to Zoo bar for plenty of dancing, and lots of very random photos!!!!
The weekend was then spent relaxing, shopping, drinking, the normal kinda thing!! Monday was a bank holiday so as always the day was spent doing a whole bunch of nothing!!! I have basically then just been bad and not got round to posting anything!
Tonight we are off to a house party, and then tomorrow I'm off to Guildford to visit my grandparents! I go and see them every month, and this past month seems to have dragged, so I'm looking forward to spending the day with them!
Its super hot here, which is not always a great thing, my skin blisters in the heat (I have no idea, and after yesterdays trip to the doctors it seems she doesn't either!) So I have been outside attempting to tan, and blistering my arms instead, I'm cool like that! Its very painful!!!
I'm going to try and come up with some more beauty related blogs to post this week! So be looking out for those!
Take care!

Lush Love!!

I have to admit, I'm a total lush junkie! I LOVE IT! Whilst on YouTube today I came across a user who makes videos of Lush bath cocktails, what first drew me to her videos was the fact she had so many products to put in the one bath! So before I start properly on this blog, I will let you know her YouTube URL so you can check her out for yourself:
Having spent a large chunk of the day watching all her Lush bath cocktail videos, I thought to myself, "Right, I have a lot of Christmas products left over, tonight I'm having bath!" So taking Bam1282's idea of using a bath ballistic, a bubble bar, and a bath melt, I selected (with some difficulty) one of each to use! I knew I wanted a relaxing bath so I went for a 'Cinders' ballistic, half a 'Christmas Eve' bubble bar (these are amazing and REALLY relaxing!) and for the bath melt, I used the 'Want to Believe'.

So having lobbed everything in my tub, I put the shower on (the shower pressure is much better than the tap pressure in my bath!), the bubbles created were amazing, but did disappear very quickly! The colour was slightly odd as well, due to the mix of the yellow, blue and grey of each product it turned a very odd shade of green!
Colour and lack of bubbles aside, I have a lovely relaxing one hour bath, and i feel very relaxed! Oh, I also facemasked (not sure that's even a word!), I used Lush's Oatifix fresh face mask, this has to be my favourite fresh face mask, I cannot get enough of the smell! Its so good I want to eat it! Which in all fairness you probably could do, but I wouldn't recommend it!!!!
Anyways, now I feel super relaxed, even though its 1am and I'm up writing this! Hopefully I should get a good nights sleep...once I decide to stop messing around and GO TO SLEEP!!!!
Night world, 'til the next time! xxx

A full day of pampering!!!
Last Wednesday I was lucky enough to accompany my aunt to the Sancutuary Spa in Covent Garden, she had been given 2 vouchers for her birthday last year, and wouldn't have time to use both of them before her birthday this year (when they expired).
Having decided on a date, I then had the chance to chose my 2 treatments! This was a tough choice!! In the end I went for the Sanctuary Brightening Facial, which is supposed to restore the natural luminosity of your complexion and revitalise your skin. As corny as it sounds, I noticed a difference pretty soon after the treatment!!!!!!!! Even a week after my skin still looks great *happy dance!* For my 2nd treatment of the day I knew I wanted a massage, as I have been having alot of problems with the muscles in my neck recently! Having thought for a while and read all the options I went for the Soothing La Sultane Full Body Massage, which according to the website: This extremely nourishing, hydrating and stress-relieving massage uses shea butter and a choice of essential oils to suit your mood. A blissful body massage leaves you in a deep stage of relaxation. I was told it would me so relaxed it was the equivalent of having 2 hours sleep! AHHHH!!!! I was excited!!
I met my aunt at 9:30 for opening time of the spa, you go through the store to a staircase at the back (a bit weird) but at the top of the staircase is the reception area, which looks amazing!!! You get met with a glass (ok a plastic cup) of either Orange juice, Apple juice or water, and then they check you in for the day. The receptionist was very helpful, they give you your own little timetable, map, medical forms etc, they then show you where the changing rooms are. In your locker is a robe, towel and a bag to tote your reading material in or whatever you want to take in with you (no mobiles/mp3s or cameras are allowed).
Once changed we went down to the 'Koi Carp Lounge', filled in all our medical forms etc, we then started our spa experience, lunch wasn't until 12:15 and our facials were at 1:30, so we had PLENTY of time to explore, making full use of the steam rooms, swimming pools and jacuzzi!! We then spent about an hour relaxing and reading before lunch!!
Lunch in itself was amazing!! I had a lamb steak which was unreal! I loved it! Then a chocolate tart with pistachio ice cream for desert!! It was then time for our facials! After our 50 minute facial we were booked into the 'Sleep Retreat', this is a room where they have low frequency VIBRATING beds!! To me this is the strangest concept ever!!The experience lasts 25 mins and they also play some woman telling you meditation techniques, although I didn't fall asleep in there, it certainly was relaxing!!!!
We then had about an hour to waste until our massages at 4:30, so we did more swimming and steam rooming!! We then went our separate ways for our 50 min massages! I was SO relaxed in mine I nearly fell asleep! I do find however whenever I have a full body massage I can never relax when I'm lying on my back!!!!!
After our massages we had an hour or so until closing, so we read and relaxed more, before showering, collecting our free gift and making our way home! I'm so pleased my aunt took me with her, and it was certainly a great day! If anyone would like to give me a voucher for my 21st, I certainly wouldn't complain!!!!!!!!
