SKINCARE -

How many times do you wash your face daily?
Twice, sometimes if I'm lazy at night, it'll just be a face wipe situation!

What skin type do you have? (dry,oily,combo) 
Dry to combination

What is your current facial wash?
E45 (the glamour!)

Do you exfoliate? 
Yes, not too often, but my Clarisonic is perfect for getting the dead skin off!

What brand do you use?
My Clarisonic teamed with Soap & Glory 'Scrub them and leave them' (I think that's it's name!)

What moisturizer do you use?
Just started using  the Garnier Moisture Match hydrating cream, I'd previously been using the Wake me Up one.

Do you have freckles? 
Nope

Do you use eye cream? 
I do, at the moment I'm using a sample of a Dior one.

Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
No, I've always been fairly fortunate with my skin

Did you ever have to use Pro-activ? 
No

What foundation do you use? 
At the moment I use Garnier BB Cream for combination skin. But normally Maybelline Fit Me in 110 or 115 (Pale girl!)

How about concealer? 
Maybelline Fit me in Colour 15

Do you know your undertone color?
I have yellow undertones

What do you think of fake eyelashes?
I love them! Only they're a bit too much of a hassle for everyday use.

Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months? 
Yes! It's something I stick to religiously.

What brand of mascara do you use?
Currently i'm using, and loving Maybelline the Rocket mascara. 

Sephora or MAC? 
Well, as this country is stupid and doesn't have a Sephora, I'd have to say MAC

Do you have a MAC Pro-card? 
No...I need to get one, but I keep forgetting!

What makeup tools do you use in make up application? 
Brushes and my hands.

Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes? 
Yes, I'm currently trying out MUA's Eyeshadow Primer, so far so good!

For the face? 
Yes, I'm a big fan of Benefits Porefessional, but I'm using either MUA's mattifying primer, or Garnier 5 Sec Perfect Blur at the moment, depending on which one I find first!

What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)?
At the moment Virgin from the original Naked Pallete

Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner? 
Both, liquid on my lash line, and an eye khol on my waterlines.

How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil? 
Rarely, if I do, it tends to be if I'm tired, or not paying attention!

What do you think of pigment eyeshadows? 
I like to use them, but I hate how much of a hassle they are to apply!. 

Do you use mineral makeup? 
Nope, I've yet to find a product that impresses me. 

What is your favorite lipstick?
So many! But the one that's in my handbag at the moment is MAC's Hue

How about lipgloss? 
NARS Turkish Delight

What is your favorite blush to use? 
MAC Dainty.

Do you buy your makeup on ebay? 
Nope, I've heard so many horror stories about fakes, I'd rather not risk it!

Do you like drugstore makeup? 
On the whole yes. I buy 90% of my makeup there.

Do you go to CCO's? (cosmetic company outlets) 
Our closest one is a pain to get to, and when I went before, I wasn't too impressed! 

Did you ever consider taking make-up classes? 
I did a year at college studying to become a Makeup Artist. Although there are some other classes I'd consider taking. 

Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
Nope, I'm a real perfectionist

Name a makeup crime that you hate? 
There's a lot, one pet peeve is poorly matched foundation. there's no excuse these days with all the options there are.

Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick,eyeshadow) or neutral ones? 
I prefer more neutral colours.

Which celebrity always has great make up?
Khloe Kardashian, she always looks flawless!

If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item, what would you use? 
Mascara! Feel naked without it on.

Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
I could, I choose not to as I feel more comfortable with it on.

Do you think you look good even without any makeup on? 
Yes, but who doesn't love to look their very best!

In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?
Would have to say MAC or Benefit, in terms of drugstores, I'd have to say MUA they are really making some great products!

I've been a bad blogger =(

I have been back in London for over a week now, in fact pushing on for 2 weeks, so I must apologise for not blogging sooner!

Ok with that out of the way its onto the good stuff! So what have I been up to?

Well I returned to London on the 24th May, and met up with an old friend on the 25th, it was a really fun day! Then on the 26th my housemates finished there exams, which of course meant, MASSIVE NIGHT OUT!!! Starting at TGI Fridays for cocktails and then on to Zoo bar for plenty of dancing, and lots of very random photos!!!!

The weekend was then spent relaxing, shopping, drinking, the normal kinda thing!! Monday was a bank holiday so as always the day was spent doing a whole bunch of nothing!!! I have basically then just been bad and not got round to posting anything!

Tonight we are off to a house party, and then tomorrow I'm off to Guildford to visit my grandparents! I go and see them every month, and this past month seems to have dragged, so I'm looking forward to spending the day with them!

Its super hot here, which is not always a great thing, my skin blisters in the heat (I have no idea, and after yesterdays trip to the doctors it seems she doesn't either!) So I have been outside attempting to tan, and blistering my arms instead, I'm cool like that! Its very painful!!!

I'm going to try and come up with some more beauty related blogs to post this week! So be looking out for those!

Slacker Alert!

Again, apologies for the lack of posts, I'm currently at home with my parents preparing for my grandfathers memorial party. I'm doing alot of the cooking so that then leaves little time to do much else!

I'm back in London on Monday, and no doubt with the current state of things there I will be posting several fairly lengthy posts...anything to avoid the avoidable!!!!

Lush Love!!

I have to admit, I'm a total lush junkie! I LOVE IT! Whilst on YouTube today I came across a user who makes videos of Lush bath cocktails, what first drew me to her videos was the fact she had so many products to put in the one bath! So before I start properly on this blog, I will let you know her YouTube URL so you can check her out for yourself:

Having spent a large chunk of the day watching all her Lush bath cocktail videos, I thought to myself, "Right, I have a lot of Christmas products left over, tonight I'm having bath!" So taking Bam1282's idea of using a bath ballistic, a bubble bar, and a bath melt, I selected (with some difficulty) one of each to use! I knew I wanted a relaxing bath so I went for a 'Cinders' ballistic, half a 'Christmas Eve' bubble bar (these are amazing and REALLY relaxing!) and for the bath melt, I used the 'Want to Believe'.

So having lobbed everything in my tub, I put the shower on (the shower pressure is much better than the tap pressure in my bath!), the bubbles created were amazing, but did disappear very quickly! The colour was slightly odd as well, due to the mix of the yellow, blue and grey of each product it turned a very odd shade of green!

Colour and lack of bubbles aside, I have a lovely relaxing one hour bath, and i feel very relaxed! Oh, I also facemasked (not sure that's even a word!), I used Lush's Oatifix fresh face mask, this has to be my favourite fresh face mask, I cannot get enough of the smell! Its so good I want to eat it! Which in all fairness you probably could do, but I wouldn't recommend it!!!!

Anyways, now I feel super relaxed, even though its 1am and I'm up writing this! Hopefully I should get a good nights sleep...once I decide to stop messing around and GO TO SLEEP!!!!

Friday Night with Jonathan Ross...

I went to the recording of 'Friday Night with Jonathan Ross' last night, and although I'm not a fan of Jonathan Ross, I really enjoyed myself! A friend of mine from back home had a spare ticket, so I went with her and her Mum, I basically went as a good excuse to see them and have a catch up!!!!!!! But nevertheless I enjoyed myself!!!

Filming finished at 9pm, and by the time I got home it was about 10:15, so I chucked some food in the oven and had myself a very late dinner!!!

Today I'm supposed to be going shopping in order to buy a bikini for the spa day on Wednesday, but I can't seem to motivate myself to move and go shopping, something I normally LOVE doing!!

Tomorrow is the dutch party!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!!! On my way back from the BBC yesterday I kept seeing posters for tomorrows event, and I couldn't stop smiling! I CANNOT WAIT!!!! I have already charged my camera up to take lots of pictures tomorrow, but still have nothing orange to wear, which although not essential, is a big part of the day!!

I will probably make a stupidly long blog tomorrow about it, and, hopefully I will be able to add some decent photos!!!!!!

Two in a row!!

It's amazing isn't it?! I don't blog for ages and then cook up to blogs in as many days!!!!

Today was a good day, scary in places, but on the whole good! Last night I decided to henna my hair, chocolate brown, I mixed it up, had my housemate apply it, and an hour later I had had enough!!! We only finished applying it at 11:20pm and I was EXHAUSTED by 12:30!! I managed to last until 1am before rinsing it out. Even though I didn't leave it in for that long, I'm happy with the results!! Going to henna again next week for several hours! Think the trick might be to a) either do it on a night when there is alot to watch on TV or b) stick a movie on! I know you can leave it on overnight, but when washing it out last night, after just an hour, it was rock solid and quite heavy!!!!

Anyway, I'm happy with the colour and will defiantly be doing it again soon!!!

Had a driving lesson today, was a scary one! I started doing hill starts, up and down, ahhh how I panicked!!!! I WILL GET THERE IN THE END THOUGH!!!!!!!

I'm super excited about the next week, my Aunt has booked us in for a spa day next Wednesday, I have picked my treatments and I'm super excited! Keep looking at the pictures of the place and getting all hyper!!!! On Saturday there is a party in Traflagar Square in honour of the Dutch day which celebrates the Queen's birthday, in The Netherlands it's called "Koninginnedag". I'm ready to get some good (goed, in Dutch!) food and wear some orange again!! (I have already painted my toenails orange!!!!!!!!) Then on Sunday I'm off to see my Grandparents for the day, I make the trip once a month, and I love doing it! Even more so now they are my only Grandparents (insert sad face!).

Don't have alot planned for tomorrow, just off to buy myself a bikini, which I'm dreading! I hate my body as it is, but with only a week before I have to fling on a bikini for the first time this year, got to watch what I eat etc, and get some serious toning in (or attempt to!!!)

Long time no blog!

It's been a LONG time since I last blogged, having looked it posted my last blog back in August! FAR too long ago! alot has changed in the time I have been away from blogging!

I made my last YouTube video in December, although at the time I didn't intend for it to be my last video, so much has changed in my personal life I don't feel I have the motivation to make them at the moment.

So what happened? February 3rd rolled around and it was the 1st year anniversary of my Grandma's death, it was a tough day as I wasn't able to be with my family. I did however speak to them on the phone, including my Grandpa. Which now i'm so thankful I did, as he died 9 days later having been in hospital for a week. This hit my family hard, particually my Mum, who has now lost both her parents in just over a year.

As a result I have been traveling between London and home every few weeks, to help out and also because I'm finding being away from home tough at this time. With all of this in mind, I can't find any real reason to continue with my youtube videos at the moment!

I do however, plan to write more blogs, i'm yet to decide if I want to keep it strictly makeup, branch out into a bit more fashion or just randomly blog. I may just go with the flow and blog about whatever takes my fancy!
