A quick update, and some favourites.

I haven't posted in a little while, no excuses as to why I didn't post anything.  I basically just took a little break from my computer!

So now, I'm back, these past few days/weeks, I've been trying a couple of new products, and rekindling my love for some old ones. Recently (and randomly) I have developed eczema on my face, as far as I know, I didn't suffer with eczema as a child, so its weird its struck at the age of 23! Anyway, this has led me to change my face products, I've ditched all Clarisonic use on my chin (where it is) and turned to the trusty old E45.

Here goes with some favourites from the past couple of weeks.

E45 Face Wash - This is super thick compared to my previous face wash (Loreal Perfect Clean for Dry skin) but gets rid of my make-up quickly and easily. I use this twice each time I wash my face (once to remove the make-up, then once more in order to clean my face.) A little also goes a long way.

E45 Shower Wash - In addition to my face seemingly rebelling, my skin has become really dry and itchy recently, I don't know if this is also some form of eczema, but even so, I've switched out my shower gel to this one rather than my beloved Soap and Glory one. This doesn't lather, so gone is my shower scrubbie, and I'm now applying it with a sponge.

Maybelline the Rocket Mascara - OH.MY.GOD! For the past year I've been religious to Benefit's 'They're Real', well no more, this mascara is amazing. I'm so picky with my mascaras, I'm lucky enough to have long lashes, but I still love length and volume, and let me tell you, this delivers on both accounts.  As always it works better once its dried out a little bit (I found within 2 to 3 days of opening was enough), and now it gives stunning application!

Kool 'n' Soothe - These migraine relief strips are something I always keep on hand. Recently my migraines began starting up again after a few months without them. I usually put one on my forehead for a few hours, sit in the dark, and then I feel much better.

Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke - Am I one of the few people who remember his song 'When I Get You Alone' from when it was out, and not just from 'Glee' covering it?! Well, having provided my song for the summer back in 2003, 10 years later and he's doing it again. I only heard this song for the first time on Tuesday (its now Thursday) and I've listened to it, I don't know how many times! It's a little different from my normal music choices of Green Day, Muse, Kings of Leon etc. But this is a real summer song! Love it!

Moa: The Green Balm - This is a product I received in a GlossyBox way back, and just never used. then I found it and did some snooping on their website. Holy Hannah this product does a lot! I now apply it to my chin and dry skin every night before bed!

Friday blues

I've had a bit of an odd morning! My Dad had a meeting in town, and my sister had an appointment, so I thought I would with them and have a Starbucks (yum!).  I had my usual drink (decaf skinny Toffee Nut Latte with extra syrup) and as i didn't have time for breakfast this morning I treated myself to a Berry Scone.  Now I feel so sluggish and drained, I'm seriously considering an afternoon nap!! Need to wake myself up asap!!!!

One reason I might be feeling so tired, is because I know I'm working tomorrow, which means the lovely 5am alarm!  Even after about 4 months of this, I still cant get used to it! I'm also working Sunday, but hopefully I will get my rota for next week, and I can find out when my days off are!! SLEEEEEP!!! Knowing my days off always makes me happier at work!!

I washed my bedding yesterday, and once I had remade my bed, it looked so beautiful I didn't want to ruin it by sleeping in it! but when I curled up last night, it was so nice and snugly, I LOVE freshly made beds! hmmmmm
It looks to pretty!! You cant say that doesn't look comfortable!

Time of my life

As I haven't blogged since the end of July, I thought it only fitting that I write an update about all the changes that have happened in my life since then!

I was living in London, but since September 2010 I have been living back at home, which although is great, at the age of 21 I'm hoping is only a temporary measure!!! So between my last blog and me moving back I spent time exploring parts of London I still wanted to see, moving, and spending time with my housemates! Our last few nights in our little "palace" were very emotional, our last trip to our favourite pub/club/park it all seemed so final! When I left the house for the last time, I was fighting back tears and as I sat on the bus on the way to the tube station, my road was in its normal state of chaos, and I thought "this is what I will miss".

The 2 years I spent in London were not only some the best times of my life, but also some of the worst, but I feel living there made me grow up so much, and totally made up for a really RUBBISH 9 months I spent in Dublin!!

Since moving home, I've started working at our local country house hotel, as a breakfast waitress, its definitely not something I want to be doing for the rest of my life, but its a job, and gets me out of the house and some cash!! Although the 5am starts are something I could live without!!

I've also finished my driving lessons, passed my test and done my pass plus! As much as I loved learning to drive, I'm glad I'm done with it all now! I don't have a car yet, but for the past week I have been insured to drive my sisters car, and I'm loving having some independence back, and being able to not rely on other people to take me places!!

Now that I'm living back in the town I grew up in, I'm realising how much I loved living in the city. As much as i love the country life, I enjoy helping out moving/feeding/treating the cattle on our friends farm, I miss all the shops, our town is absolutely terrible for shopping, with most of our shops consisting of, phone shops/charity shops or coffee shops! I tend to have to wait ages between shopping trips, or order online and pay the extra for delivery! Roll on when I get a car!!!!

My housemates and I have arranged our next night out in London, we book into a travelodge, and then go clubbing in the evening and shopping the next day, its so much fun, we did our first 'reunion' in December, and its currently 18 days until our next, one of my ex housemates has moved to New Zealand, so although she was there for the december one, she wont be for this one! *sad face* Here is a picture of the four of us from Decembers night out!
GOTTA LOVE MY GIRLS!!!

Long time no blog!

It's been a LONG time since I last blogged, having looked it posted my last blog back in August! FAR too long ago! alot has changed in the time I have been away from blogging!

I made my last YouTube video in December, although at the time I didn't intend for it to be my last video, so much has changed in my personal life I don't feel I have the motivation to make them at the moment.

So what happened? February 3rd rolled around and it was the 1st year anniversary of my Grandma's death, it was a tough day as I wasn't able to be with my family. I did however speak to them on the phone, including my Grandpa. Which now i'm so thankful I did, as he died 9 days later having been in hospital for a week. This hit my family hard, particually my Mum, who has now lost both her parents in just over a year.

As a result I have been traveling between London and home every few weeks, to help out and also because I'm finding being away from home tough at this time. With all of this in mind, I can't find any real reason to continue with my youtube videos at the moment!

I do however, plan to write more blogs, i'm yet to decide if I want to keep it strictly makeup, branch out into a bit more fashion or just randomly blog. I may just go with the flow and blog about whatever takes my fancy!

Until next time, stay safe and healthy!
